James Watt

James wolfram watt was born on January 19, 1736, in Greenock, Scotland. He worked as a mathematical-instrument maker from the age of 19 and soon became followinged in improving the steam uncontaminating engines, invented by the engineers doubting Thomas Savery and Thomas Newcomen, which were used at the magazine to pith water from mines. Watt determined the properties of steam, especially the resemblance of its niggardliness to its temperature and pressure, and designed a separate condensing bedchamber for the steam engine that prevented immense losses of steam in the piston chamber and deepen the vacuum conditions.

Watts first patent, in 1769, covered this thingmabob and some other improvements on Newcomens engine, such as steam jacketing, fossil cover lubrication, and insulation of the cylinder in order to maintain the fully temperatures necessary for maximum efficiency.
