A woman is defined as a female human. sometimes in the society, people think women are low-cal or can not do the thing men can do. Womens can do just as a lot as a male. In the refreshful, The Bluest Eye, women are considered strong and bold. The end of this essay is to examine The Bluest Eye through womanist theory in regards to the characters Mrs. Breedlove, Mrs. Macteer, and Pecola.
Alica Walkers Womanist Theory defined as a womanist is to feminist as purple is to lavender. A woman loves dance, the moon, the Spirits, food, roundness, struggles, the Folk, herself and regardless. Basically, a woman shouldnt just love and care intimately herself but also, her children as well. Also, a women who loves other women, sexually or non-sexually. Appreciates and prefers womens culture, womans emotional flexibility and womens strength. Alice, also; express that sometimes a women love private men sexually and non-sexually. For example, Mama, Im walking to Canada and Im taking you and a bunch of other slaves with me: reaction; It wouldnt be the first time. This statement express that women are very strong and bold.
One of the main characters in the novel is Mrs. Breedlove. Mrs. Breedlove accepted many things throughout the novel. She had many good and drab situations throughout the entire story. During the story, she is characterize as strong, sometimes she weak and very bold. When Mrs. Breedlove fought her husband Cholly back even though she evoke the fight is an example of her being strong. The fight was very tragic; they fought each other with no love towards each other. You would go for thought Cholly was fighting another man, the way he type slug and slammed Mrs. Breelove. But Mrs. Breedlove never gave up; she used whatever object that came in contact with her to destroy her husband.
